WHAT INSPIRED “THICKER THAN WATER”?

KRISTIN: The idea for “Thicker than Water” came from a dream I had of a ceiling that dripped blood; to me, this imagery represents emotions we can’t keep hidden, no matter how hard we try. Inspired partially by my own experiences and those of the women in my family, this story explores depression, love, and the things we pass down from mother to daughter.
